I Write
Authoring Perfectly Imperfect and creating Oh Landia turned into a powerful therapy tool. It helped me analyze my imperfect life and plan my future with ADHD. It became a quiet sanctuary for me where I could process my chaotic thoughts, feelings, and actions, hold monologues with myself, and evolve a concrete roadmap first with a meaningful Mission, Purpose, and Goals. It was the process that set me on a course to thrive with ADHD and craft my Treasure Map to find the bountiful treasure in Oh Landia
I also discovered that writing is more about rewriting, than writing! As I read and reread my words, I found I had unearthed a treasure trove of practical insights worth trying out and sharing. These became a wellspring of inspiration to many lives I touched within my inner circle of friends. It was they who encouraged me to share ‘Oh’ and Oh Landia with the world.
Most importantly, writing Perfectly Imperfect gave me innovative ways to explore complex emotions that I generally shy away from. It gave me the opportunity to view these through the lens of everyday things I love – cooking, eating, leadership, entrepreneurship, and more and discover the courage to share my deep thoughts with the world.
A word of caution: in my writing I use many acronyms, mnemonics, and metaphors linked to well-known concepts from the business world. This helps them to stick like Velcro in my brain and become constant reminders to use these highly effective tools pro-actively.

Welcome to the extraordinary adventures of Kiran, whose life stories are as captivating as the oceans he once sailed.
Born in Bengaluru, in 1967, his life took an enchanting turn when as a young maritime officer sailing he fell in love on board a ship with the apprentice Marianne hailing from Denmark. Their love story, a true fairytale, unfolded both on land and sea after they married in 1996. Today they call the beautiful city Copenhagen home and are blessed with two wonderful children.
Kirans career is a testament to his tenacity and adaptability. In a successful career that spanned multiple decades, continents, business domains and cultures, Kiran grew from a home appliance salesman to a merchant marine officer, and finally as he says with a sheepish grin “an ambitious ‘stay-at-work’ father” in famed Fortune companies and start-ups.
In 2021, unforeseen burnout prompted Kiran to go on a new journey. A strage one that required him to look deep within himself at the ‘metiphorical hurricanes that seemd to rage within him’. Kiran embraced this journey and invested in a period of intense introspection.
He emerged in a new persona proudly owning his next journey as a leader and entrepreneur with ADHD. But that was not all, he set himself an audacious goal: to create a billion smiles every day!
To achieve this noble goal, Kiran is harnessing his unique talents, the power of his brain, sense of humour, to weave ‘jugaad’, an Indian philosophy of frugal and innovative problem-solving, with ‘hygge’ , a Danish concept of simplicity and cultivating meaningful relationships. The first fruits of this adventure is Oh that he proudly shares with the world.
With ‘Perfectly Imperfect’ as his guiding star, Kiran’s course for his next adventures is set. He is crafting a treasure map inspired by his escapades in his daily life in a place he calls ‘DontDoNation’ and Oh Landia. The treasure map is designed for storytelling and will be shared through blogs, podcasts, and comics, promising a journey filled with wonder, laughter, and inspiration.
